Nutella Ice Cream

Nutella ice cream is a rich, sweet and creamy, chocolate-y ice cream with Nutella swirled throughout. Learn how to make Nutella ice cream in a few steps with just 5 simple ingredients.

Pour the heavy cream into a mixing bowl. Beat on medium speed to medium peaks with a whisk attachment (or beaters).

Step 1:  

In a separate bowl melt ½ cup (148 g) Nutella in the microwave in 30 second increment for 30 - 60 seconds.

Step 2:  

Whisk the sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract and salt into the melted Nutella until well combined.

Step 3:  

Pour the sweetened mixture into the whipped heavy cream and mix on low until combined.

Step 4:  

Layer the homemade ice cream with ¼ cup (74 g) of more melted Nutella into a freezer proof container.

Step 5:  

Freeze the ice cream for at least 8 hours, but preferably overnight.

Step 6:  

Pull the ice cream out to sit at room temperature for about 5 minutes, scoop and enjoy!
