Small Batch Chocolate Chip Cookies

These small batch chocolate chip cookies are soft, chewy and no chill. They can be mixed and baked in about 20 minutes and makes about half a dozen cookies. 

Preheat the oven to 350 F (177 C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 1:  

In a mixing bowl, mix the melted butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, egg yolk and vanilla extract together until well combined.

Step 2:  

Sift in the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Mix well to combine.

Step 3:  

Fold in the chocolate chips.

Step 4:  

Scoop about 2 tablespoons of chocolate chip cookie dough onto the lined baking sheet.

Step 5:  

Bake the cookies for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are set and are lightly golden brown.

Step 6:  

Cool the cookies on the hot baking sheet for 3-4 minutes before transferring them to a cooling rack.
