Cherry cookies are soft and buttery shortbread drop cookies filled with maraschino cherries and sweet almond flavor. These pretty pink cherry cookies are quick and easy to make.
While the cookies chill, preheat the oven to 350 F (177 C) for 30 minutes. Line two large baking sheets with parchment paper. After 30 minutes, scoop about 1 tablespoon (15 ml) of cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheet.
Remove the cookies from the oven onto a cooling rack. After 3 minutes, transfer the cookies off the hot baking sheet and onto the cooling rack to cool to room temperature and enjoy!
