Mascarpone Frosting

Mascarpone frosting is a decadent, creamy and lusciously silky smooth, not too sweet frosting that’s perfect for topping cakes, cupcakes, brownies and cookies.   

Place a mixing bowl and whisk attachment in the fridge or freezer for about 15 - 20 minutes before making the frosting recipe.

Step 1:  

On low, whisk the mascarpone cheese until smooth.

Step 2:  

Once smooth, mix in the vanilla extract and powdered sugar until well combined.

Step 3:  

Once all the sugar has been added, mix in the heavy cream slowly on low speed.

Step 4:  

Once all the heavy cream has been added, increase the mixer speed to medium for about 2 - 3 minutes or until the frosting is light and fluffy.

Step 5:  

Transfer the frosting to a storage container.

Step 6:  

Or use to top cakes, cupcakes, cookies or brownies.
