Strawberry Whipped Cream

Strawberry whipped cream is a light, fluffy and creamy homemade whipped cream made with fresh or freeze dried strawberries. It's perfect for topping cake, cupcakes or as a sweet dip.

Place the freeze dried strawberries into a food processor or blender.

Step 1:

Pulse the strawberries until they form a strawberry powder.

Step 2:

Transfer the strawberry powder into a mixing bowl.

Step 3:

Add the heavy cream, powdered sugar and vanilla extract to a mixing bowl fitted with a whisk attachment. Combine the ingredients on low for 1 minute.

Step 4:

Increase the speed of the mixer to medium speed. Mix for about 1 - 3 more minutes or until the cream has whipped to medium - medium stiff peaks.

Step 5:

To serve the strawberry whipped cream, transfer the strawberry cream into a piping bag fitted with a star attachment. Pipe the whipped cream into small serving dishes, top with fresh strawberries and enjoy.

Step 6:

Alternatively scoop the creamy strawberry cream into a bowl, top with chopped strawberries and serve alongside pretzels, cookies or graham crackers.
