Homemade Tahini Oreo Cookies
These soft tahini Oreo cookies are the classic dark cocoa sandwich cookie you know and love, with a salty, nutty tahini buttercream.
Make the soft chocolate cookie dough.
Roll the dough into two dough sheets and chill in the fridge.
Cut the cookie dough using a 2 inch biscuit or cookie cutter.
Bake the cookie in at 350 F/ 177 C for 9-11 minutes.
Cool the cookies on a hot baking sheet for 3-4 minutes.
Cool the cookies to room temperature before filling with tahini buttercream.
Make the tahini filling by creaming together butter, tahini, vanilla extract, salt and powdered sugar.
Flip half of the baked cookies to show the bottom facing up. Fill the cookies with about 1 tablespoon of filling.
Top each each cookie with filling with another cookie. Gently press together.
Enjoy with a cold glass of milk .
