Servings 16 strawberries

Equipment

  • 1 microwave safe bowl or cup
  • 1 small baking sheet or large plate
  • 1 parchment or wax paper

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. strawberries, washed and dried
  • 8 oz. (226 g) white chocolate

Instructions

  • Wash and pat dry the strawberries. Remove any leaves that have began wilting or could be slimy.
  • Place the white chocolate into a small bowl or large microwave safe cup.
  • Heat the white chocolate in 20 second increments in the microwave until the chocolate is fully melted. Stir the white chocolate in between each increment.
  • Once the chocolate has melted dip the strawberry into the white chocolate at least half way up the berry. I prefer to dip the berry about ¾ of the way to top.
  • Place the white chocolate dipped strawberry onto a parchment or wax paper lined baking sheet or large plate. Using a fork drizzle any leftover white chocolate on top of the dipped fruit.
If you are adding any other toppings, make sure to add them now.
  • Leave the white chocolate covered strawberries to set at room temperature. The berries take about 15-20 minutes to set.

Notes

Store leftover white chocolate covered strawberries: In an airtight container at room temperature for up to one day. For longer storage transfer them in the fridge for up 2 days.
