Rice Pudding with Condensed Milk

Rice pudding with consensed milk is a rich and creamy dish made with rice, sweetened condensed milk and a few other ingredients. This cozy spiced rice pudding is perfect for breakfast.

Add water and rice to a large sauce pan or heavy bottom pot. Bring the rice and water to a boil over medium high heat.

Step 1:

Once the water and rice starts to boil, cover the pot or sauce pan, reduce the temperature to low and simmer for about 10 minutes.

Step 2:

After the 10 minutes is up, uncover the sauce pan. Stir in the milk, condensed milk, ground cinnamon and nutmeg and salt.

Step 3:

If you would like to add raisins, stir in up to ½ cup raisins at this time. Stir well to combine all the ingredients together.

Step 4:

Increase the temperature to medium and continue to cook the rice pudding for about 15 - 20 minutes or until thickened and creamy.

Step 5:

Remove the condensed milk rice pudding from the heat. Stir the vanilla extract into the hot rice pudding.

Step 6:

Scoop the rice pudding into a serving dish or bowl. If you would like, dust the rice pudding with more cinnamon or top with nuts or fruit and enjoy.
