Ingredients

  • ½ cup (113 g) unsalted butter
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¾ cup (180 ml) maple syrup

Instructions

  • Place the room temperature butter in the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with whisk attachment. With the mixer set to low, smooth the butter across the bottom of the bowl. Increase the speed to high for 1 - 2 minutes or until the butter becomes light and fluffy.
    ½ cup (113 g) unsalted butter
  • Once the butter is light and fluffy mix the salt and ground cinnamon on low for about 30 seconds or until well combined. Scrape the sides and bottom of the mixing bowl.
¼ teaspoon salt , ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • With the mixer on low stream the maple syrup into the spiced butter. Once the maple syrup is fully incorporated, increase the mixing speed to medium for 30 seconds. Taste and adjust the flavor as needed.
¾ cup (180 ml) maple syrup
  • Transfer the maple butter to a serving dish. Top with more maple syrup if you like and enjoy.
