Equipment

  • 2 small jars with lids
  • 1 large mixing bowl
  • 1 fine mesh strainer

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (240 ml) milk
  • 1 - 3 teaspoons ceremonial grade matcha powder
  • ¼ cup (48 g) chia seeds
  • 1 - 3 teaspoons liquid sweetener of choice (honey, maple syrup)
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  • Pour milk into a large bowl. Top the bowl with a fine mesh strainer. Sift the matcha powder into the milk. Whisk until well combined, with no lumps of matcha and the matcha has formed a foamy layer at the top.
    1 cup (240 ml) milk , 1 - 3 teaspoons ceremonial grade matcha powder
  • Add the chia seeds, vanilla, salt, and your sweetener of choice to the matcha milk. Whisk the matcha with the chia seeds, vanilla, salt and sweetener until well combined. Cover and chill the mixture in the fridge for 1 hour.
    ¼ cup (48 g) chia seeds, 1 - 3 teaspoons liquid sweetener of choice , ½ teaspoon vanilla extract, ¼ teaspoon salt
  • Once the strawberry chia pudding has set and thickened for 1 hour, transfer the mixture into your preferred serving dishes. Cover and return to the fridge for another 1 - 2 hours or for up to 5 days.
Before serving, top with your preferred toppings and enjoy.
