Equipment

  • 1 stand mixer with paddle attachment or electric hand mixer with beaters

Ingredients

  • ½ cup (113 g) salted or unsalted butter, room temperature
  • ¼ -½ cup (60 - 120 ml) honey
  • 3 tablespoons (22 g) powdered sugar

Instructions

  • Place the room temperature butter in the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with paddle attachment. With the mixer set to low, smooth the butter across the bottom of the bowl. Increase the speed to high for 1 - 2 minutes or until the butter becomes light and fluffy.
½ cup (113 g) salted or unsalted butter, room temperature
  • Once the butter is light and fluffy mix in the honey and powdered sugar on low for about 30 seconds or until well combined. Then increase the speed to medium - medium high speed for 1 - 2 minutes.
For fluffier honey butter, continue to cream the honey and butter mixture for about 5 minutes.
    ¼ -½ cup (60 - 120 ml) honey, 3 tablespoons (22 g) powdered sugar
  • Transfer the creamed honey and butter to a serving dish. Top with more honey and a sprinkle of flaky salt if you like.
