Substitutions
If you need them, here are my recommended substitutions for this chocolate covered graham cracker recipe:
- Graham Crackers: Feel free to use any graham crackers you like and have on hand. Buttery and salty Ritz crackers or pretzels would also be delicious.
- Candy Melts: After a few attempts of using other chocolates, I highly recommend using white chocolate, milk chocolate and dark chocolate candy melts. If you need to, use a good quality chocolate bar. Avoid using chips if possible as they clump rather than melt into a smoothing coating.
Variation
Toppings: Feel free to use crushed toffee candy, finely chopped nuts, flaky salt, crushed peppermint candy or holiday themed sprinkles. Tip: Just make sure to top the fudge graham cookies within a minute or two of covering them in chocolate. This is especially important when using candy melts.
